John has represented Canada twice at previous games and brought home a Bronze medal from the Beijing Games in 2008. John’s sailing career includes podium successes in the 2.4mR, Sonar and Hobie Trapseat classes. Following his medal in China he is now focused solely on the Skud 18 for London 2012.  He is a professional sailing skipper who helps youth-at-risk build their self-esteem, and an inspirational speaker.

John just recently qualified for the 2012 Paralympics crew Stacie Louttit.
