Day two at the 470 World Championships, and it's a GEM! Three top ten finishes for Mike Leigh and Luke Ramsay prove their hunger for
qualification and incredible talent in this relatively new boat for the guys. The first race saw the Canadians finish second, only to do better in the second race taking line honors with a solid first! To round out their day, a third race saw them cross the line in 4th overall. Sitting in 14th overall, Ramsay & Leigh are pretty pleased with today's outcome saying "Felt great to have our first win in a race at the world championships."
Canada's Yellow fleet 470 women, Dana Archibald and Karen Dexter, sailed over the finish line in 9th in the first race, 22nd in the second and 17th in the third. They are currently in 34th overall.
